AFP Journalists Arrested During #FreeNnamdiKanuNow Protest in Abuja

Two AFP journalists, Nicholas Roll and John, were arrested by Nigerian police while covering the #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest in Abuja, demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the IPOB leader. The journalists' phones and cameras were confiscated, leading to a confrontation with the police.

The protest, which saw several IPOB members and human rights activist Omoyele Sowore detained, faced police blockades in key locations across Abuja, causing massive traffic disruptions.
