Fresh FM breaks silence on fire outbreak at Ibadan Headquarters

Fresh FM Nigeria has addressed the recent fire outbreak at its headquarters in Challenge, Ibadan. The station confirmed the devastating incident in a statement signed by the Group Head of Corporate Affairs, Samson Akindele.

The fire, which occurred on Friday evening, caused significant damage to key sections of the broadcasting complex, including the studio, Fresh FM Blast FM, and adjoining offices. Despite efforts by staff members and professional firefighters, the intensity of the flames led to extensive destruction.

The official assessment of the damage is still ongoing. The station management expressed gratitude to residents, passersby, and the Oyo State Fire Service for their assistance in containing the fire.

Fresh FM, founded by gospel singer Yinka Ayefele, is a prominent private radio station in Ibadan. The management assured listeners and stakeholders that updates on the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage will be provided once the investigation is concluded.
