Rabi Maidunama Inspires at Rotary International 2026

Rabi Maidunama, founder of the Maidunama Sickle Cell Foundation (MAISCEF), participated in the Rotary International Convention 2026 held in Taipei, Taiwan, in June 2026. She joined thousands of Rotarians from around the world, representing Nigeria with pride.

The convention brought together 38,000 Rotarians, creating an atmosphere for cultural exchange and renewing commitments to humanitarian service. Maidunama engaged in sessions that connected her with fellow Rotarians from various countries, sharing ideas on community health advocacy and service.

This experience allowed her to showcase Nigeria's presence on a global stage and learn from successful projects implemented by Rotary clubs worldwide. Maidunama described the convention as inspiring and emphasized the importance of unity among people from different backgrounds in making the world a better place.

She returned home with fresh ideas and a renewed determination to serve vulnerable communities, particularly those affected by sickle cell disorder. The trip also provided her with a deeper appreciation of Taiwan's unique culture and hospitality.
