FTAN to Inaugurate South-south Zone Executive Council in Port Harcourt

The Federated Tourism Association of Nigeria (FTAN) is gearing up to inaugurate its South-south Zone Executive Council on November 17, 2025, in Port Harcourt, River State. The event, to be presided over by FTAN Vice President for the South-south zone, Mr.

Faith Esoh Essien, signifies the start of full-fledged activities in the region following the recent assumption of office by the new national executive council head, Dr. Aliyu Badaki.

The inauguration ceremony will focus on driving transformation in the tourism sector, with a theme centered on unlocking the natural wealth of the South-south region for sustainable prosperity. Stakeholders from various sectors are expected to attend the event.
