FTAN to Inaugurate South-South Zone Executive Council for Tourism Development

The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) will inaugurate its South-South Zone Executive Council on November 17, 2025, in Port Harcourt, River State. The event will mark the beginning of full-fledged activities in the region under the leadership of Mr.

Faith Esoh Essien. The focus will be on transforming the tourism sector positively, addressing economic challenges, and promoting sustainable prosperity through tourism.

Dr. Aliyu Badaki, the national FTAN president, will lead the official ceremony, emphasizing the commitment to tourism development and economic diversification.
