Governor Fubara Raises Alarm Over Poor Utilization of Port Harcourt Ports, Warns of Economic Setback

Governor Sim Fubara of River State expressed concerns over the underutilization of Port Harcourt ports, citing economic losses for the state and the nation. He highlighted the need for full capacity utilization to drive job creation and industrial growth.

Fubara criticized the neglect of the ports and emphasized the importance of efficient seaports for national development. The Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) was urged to take action to enhance the ports' operations.

Adeyeyi Adebayo, Chairman of the NPA board, was present during Fubara's remarks.
