Rivers State Governor Dissolves Microfinance Agency Board, Appoints Acting MD

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has dissolved the Board of the Rivers State Microfinance Agency and appointed Pastor Jonathan Tobin as the Acting Managing Director. The dissolution was announced in a statement by the Head of Service, Inyingi Brown, who confirmed the transfer of agency property and assets to the new Acting MD.

Governor Fubara assured that the board would be reconstituted in due course, citing the need for restructuring. The move aims to streamline operations and enhance the efficiency of the microfinance agency in serving the people of Rivers State.
