Rivers APC to Collaborate with Governor Fubara Upon His Return on September 18

The Rivers State chapter of the Progressives Congress (APC) announced Governor Sim Fubara's return to office on September 18. State APC Chairman Chief Tony Okocha confirmed the party's readiness to work with Fubara upon his return.

Despite holding Fubara accountable, the party agreed to collaborate with him. Governor Fubara was suspended by President Bola Tinubu for six months, declaring a state of emergency in the state.

The APC emphasized that they would continue to criticize any wrong actions by the governor. The party also mentioned that local government chairmen would work with Fubara, except in cases where they disagree with his decisions.
