APC Confirms Governor Fubara's Return Date Amid Suspension

The APC in Rivers State confirmed the return date of suspended Governor Sim Fubara to office on September 18. The state APC Chairman, Chief Tony Okocha, stated that the party is prepared to work with Fubara upon his return, despite holding him accountable for past actions.

Fubara was suspended by President Bola Tinubu for six months, with the state under a declared emergency. The APC emphasized that while Fubara will resume office, criticism of his actions will not be stifled.
