JAMB Releases Results of 85 Underage Candidates for Exceptional Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) announced the release of results for 85 underage candidates who successfully passed the screening process for tertiary institution admission. Dr.

Fabian Benjamin confirmed the qualification of these candidates after a meticulous evaluation. Out of over 2 million applicants, 41,027 sought consideration under the special underage category, with 599 meeting the 80% threshold.

The Ministry of Education, through Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, debunked false claims that JAMB no longer mandates tertiary admissions in Nigeria.

The Ministry emphasized that JAMB's role remains crucial in the admission process.
