APC Elects New Leadership at National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) conducted its national convention at Eagle Square in Abuja, resulting in the election of Professor Nentaw Yilwatda as the national chairman. He will be supported by two deputy national chairmen: Ali Bukar Dalori representing the North and Dr.

Benjamin Obi Nwoy representing the South. Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru was elected as the national secretary, working alongside Professor Abdulkarim Abubakar Kana, who emerged as the deputy national secretary.

The convention also saw the election of Murtala Aliyu Kankia as the national legal adviser, Uguru Mathew Ofok as the national treasurer, and Ambassador Haruna Ginsau as the national financial secretary. Other key appointments included Muhammad Sulaiman Argungu as the national organizing secretary and Donatu Enyinnah Nwankpa as the national welfare secretary.

Felix Morka retained his position as the national publicity secretary, while Senator Abubakar Maikafi was elected as the national auditor. The convention produced a national ex-officio member representing six geopolitical zones, ensuring broad representation within the party's new leadership structure.
