Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray Target Nigerian Striker Arokodare

Turkish clubs Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare from Wolverhampton Wanderers as they prepare for the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Turkish transfer journalist Ekrem Konur, both clubs are monitoring the 25-year-old forward, with loan deals being considered realistic options.

Fenerbahçe has placed Arokodare on their shortlist to bolster their attack for the next season. The club is shifting its transfer focus to England in search of attacking reinforcements, particularly as they aim to improve their squad.

Additionally, Beşiktaş is also in the race for Arokodare, with influential Nigerian figures, including former international Daniel Amokachi and current Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, reportedly involved in efforts to persuade Arokodare to join an Istanbul club. Arokodare joined Wolverhampton from Genk in a £26 million deal last summer, with a contract running until 2029, and has scored six goals and provided two assists in 32 appearances this season, despite Wolverhampton's struggles.
