Galatasaray Rejects Arsenal's €30m Offer for Osimhen

Galatasaray has turned down an offer from Arsenal that included striker Viktor Gyökeres and €30m for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen. Turkish journalist Ömer Faruk Özcan reported that Arsenal officials traveled to Istanbul to negotiate, but Galatasaray refused to entertain the proposal.

The club values Osimhen between €130m and €150m, considering him one of the most valuable players globally. Since joining Galatasaray permanently, Osimhen has scored 59 goals and provided 16 assists in 74 appearances, contributing to the club's back-to-back Turkish Super Lig titles.

He signed a four-year contract in July 2025, reportedly the largest financial package in Turkish football, worth approximately €21m net per season. Galatasaray paid Napoli €75m for his transfer, retaining a 10% sell-on clause, and has a separate agreement preventing Osimhen's sale to an Italian club before 2027 without incurring penalties.

Despite transfer speculation, Osimhen remains content in Istanbul.
