Galatasaray Rejects Arsenal's Bid for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray has turned down an ambitious offer from Arsenal for Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen, which included Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres and an additional €30 million. Senior Arsenal officials traveled to Istanbul to negotiate, but Galatasaray insisted Osimhen is central to their long-term plans.

The Turkish champions value the 27-year-old striker between €130 million and €150 million and will not consider offers below that. Galatasaray views Osimhen as indispensable for their domestic title challenge and UEFA Champions League campaign, especially after his remarkable performance of 59 goals and 16 assists in 74 appearances since his permanent move from Napoli.

His long-term contract, signed in July 2025 and running until June 2029, strengthens Galatasaray's negotiating position. Arsenal's interest persists despite their recent signing of Gyökeres, reflecting their desire to enhance their attacking options with one of Europe's top forwards.
