Galadima Condemns Abba Kabir Yusuf's Defection as Betrayal of Kwankwaso

In a recent interview, Galadima, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees of the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP), criticized Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf's defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), attributing it to betrayal of former Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's rival, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Galadima expressed disappointment in Yusuf's decision, alleging that it was driven by self-preservation rather than the interests of the people of Kano.

He highlighted the historical support provided by NNPP to Yusuf and accused him of abandoning the party's principles. Galadima also credited former President Muhammadu Buhari for Yusuf's victory in a prolonged legal battle.

Additionally, he warned against electoral manipulation in the upcoming 2027 elections and criticized the federal government's coercive tactics against opposition figures.
