Osimhen Undergoes Successful Surgery for Forearm Injury

Victor Osimhen, the striker for Galatasaray, has successfully undergone surgery for a fractured right forearm. This injury occurred during the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 return leg against Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday night.

The surgery was conducted by club doctor Yener Inc at Maslak Acibadem Hospital. Initially, it was suspected that Osimhen would be sidelined for six weeks due to the injury.

However, various media outlets, including top Turkish journalist Ali Naci Kucuk, report that Osimhen may be out of action for a month and a half. Galatasaray is hopeful that he will be fit to feature in the intercontinental derby clash against their bitter city rivals, Fenerbahce, scheduled for April 26.
