Galatasaray Confirms Victor Osimhen's Injury Status After MRI Scan

Galatasaray has confirmed Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen's injury status after undergoing an MRI scan due to a knock suffered while on international duty with Nigeria during a World Cup playoff match in Rabat, Morocco. Osimhen, who scored nine goals in 12 matches for the club, has been diagnosed with a moderate level strain in his left hind muscle.

As a result, he will miss the upcoming game against Genclerbirligi S.K. and will also be absent from the 2025 CAF Award ceremony. Osimhen's injury adds to the challenges faced by both him and his club, Galatasaray, as they aim to maintain their position at the top of the Turkish Super Lig table.
