Galatasaray Rejects €120M Bid for Victor Osimhen

Galatasaray has turned down a €120 million (approximately ₦189 billion) bid from Atletico Madrid for Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen. This decision comes as Atletico Madrid seeks a top-tier striker amid uncertainties regarding their principal attacker, Alexander Isak.

Osimhen, 27, joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli last summer and has been in scintillating form, scoring 22 goals and providing eight assists in 32 appearances. His performance has attracted attention from several major European clubs, including Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich.

Galatasaray's rejection of the substantial offer signifies their intent to retain Osimhen, especially after investing €75 million to secure his permanent transfer last summer and offering him a lucrative contract. The transfer window remains open for several months, leaving the possibility for future offers as the summer progresses.
