Coalition of CSOs Backs Gbajabiamila Against Allegations

On Friday, a coalition of 350 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) convened a press conference in Abuja to express their support for Femi Hakeem Gbajabiamila, the Chief of Staff to the President. They described allegations made by Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew against Gbajabiamila as baseless and lacking credible evidence.

The coalition, which included representatives from various organizations, stated that they had carefully examined the claims and found them unsubstantiated. They emphasized that the allegations aimed to tarnish Gbajabiamila's image without any substantial proof.

The coalition highlighted Gbajabiamila's public service record and his contributions during his tenure as Speaker of the 9th House, including landmark legislative reforms and support for vulnerable Nigerians. They called for relevant security agencies to investigate Matthew's claims and urged for his arrest and prosecution, asserting that the matter should not be handled lightly.
