Hashim and Falana Unite Against One-Party System in Nigeria

On January 7, 1988, Gbenga Hashim, a former presidential candidate, met with senior advocate Femi Falana in Abuja to strategize against the imposition of a one-party system in Nigeria. Hashim, representing pro-democracy forces, emphasized the need to safeguard the country's multi-party democracy.
