Hashim Vows to Resist One-Party Rule in Nigeria

Gbenga Hashim, a former presidential candidate, declared his commitment to resisting any efforts to establish a one-party rule in Nigeria following a meeting with senior advocate Femi Falana. Hashim described his long-standing association with Falana, which spans over four decades, rooted in their shared commitment to justice and activism. Hashim also referenced legal actions taken against military rule, including a 1988 lawsuit challenging the regime's structural adjustment program, with Falana serving as pro bono counsel.
