Goodluck Jonathan's Cousin Defends 2027 Presidential Eligibility Amid Criticism

Azibaola Robert, cousin of former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan, responded to criticisms from Keyamo and Odinkalu regarding Jonathan's eligibility for the 2027 presidency. Robert affirmed that Jonathan is legally qualified to contest the election, citing his previous presidency from 2010 to 2015.

Despite uncertainties within the opposition parties, there are calls for Jonathan to run in 2027. Notably, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the Minister of Aviation have supported Jonathan's potential candidacy.

Robert emphasized that Jonathan will only contest if he chooses to do so, respecting the overwhelming calls for him to run.
