Getafe Offers to Sign Free Agent Jadon Sancho

Getafe has formally offered to sign Jadon Sancho, a 26-year-old winger and former Manchester United attacker, who is currently a free agent after his contract expired in the summer. Sancho has been exploring various options and is said to prefer a move away from England, although he remains open to all possibilities.

The negotiation process is described as complicated. Getafe, currently 14th in La Liga and participating in the Europa Conference League this season, is eager to reach a resolution.

Sancho joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 and spent the previous season on loan at Aston Villa, where he made 39 appearances and contributed to the team's Champions League qualification and Europa League success. He also had loan spells with Dortmund and Chelsea during his five years at United.

His move to Chelsea in the 2024-25 campaign included an obligation to buy, but Chelsea paid a £5m penalty to return him to Manchester United after 41 appearances.
