Real Madrid Pursues Manchester United's JJ Gabriel Transfer

Real Madrid has joined the race to sign 15-year-old Manchester United academy player JJ Gabriel, who has formally requested to cancel his registration with the club. Despite Manchester United's right to challenge this request, Gabriel's representatives claim he feels let down by the club regarding his pathway to the first team.

Other clubs interested in Gabriel include Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, and Chelsea. Real Madrid is reportedly eager to recruit him immediately and place him with Real Madrid Castilla, their reserve side.

Gabriel, who turns 16 on October 6, is currently not training with Manchester United. The club had hoped he could become their youngest-ever senior player in an EFL Cup tie against Brighton, which they lost 3-2.

Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick emphasized the need to be cautious regarding Gabriel's situation, focusing on the welfare of young players. Gabriel's registration with United is believed to run until the end of the season, complicating any immediate transfer.
