Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale has been detained by the Economic Organised Crime Office (EOCO) in a tax investigation related to his yellow Lamborghini luxury vehicle. The artist voluntarily presented himself to EOCO, clarifying that the detention is linked to tax obligations and not criminal activities.

However, the backstory of the Lamborghini seizure involves a convicted fraudster, Nana Kwabena Amuah, who is serving a jail term for defrauding numerous organizations. EOCO stated that the car was returned to aid in restitution to Amuah's victims.

Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah, has consistently denied any connection to Amuah and claims to be the rightful owner of the car. His management released a statement urging fans to remain calm and avoid speculation, assuring that their legal team is actively working to resolve the matter.
