GICL Driving Nigeria's Digital Revolution with Nationwide Fiber Optic Network

GICL, a subsidiary of IH Tower Nigeria, is driving Nigeria's digital transformation by deploying a nationwide fiber optic network to support high-speed data transmission and increase network access in rural communities. With a milestone of laying 15,000 kilometers of fiber optic cable across Nigeria, excluding mobile network operations, GICL has become the largest fiber network owner in the country within five years.

Through collaborations with Avanti Communications, GICL has received global recognition, winning the World Space Business Award in 2024. The company's projects include establishing innovation hubs in states like Kwara and promoting digital services for homes, businesses, and government institutions nationwide.
