Gina Ojo Champions Nigeria's Culinary Heritage

Gina Ojo is the CEO of Geenamor Associates and has been instrumental in preserving Nigeria's food heritage. Her journey began in childhood, but it wasn't until she moved to Lagos for law school that she recognized the gap in knowledge about indigenous Nigerian ingredients and meals.

Ojo worked in the corporate sector and media, eventually becoming the head of corporate development at Nigezi Orisun TV and later the general manager at WAP Products Limited, where she led the establishment of WAP TV. She created the cooking show "Foodi Spice," which showcases indigenous recipes and cooking techniques.

Ojo has traveled internationally, including to Azerbaijan, to document food cultures and promote Nigerian cuisine. Her work has earned her several accolades, including the Viewer Choice Award for Best Brand Business Food Program and the Eloi Award for Food Vlogger Entrepreneur.

She also organizes the Foodahol Festival, Nigeria's largest gathering of food enthusiasts.
