Mercy Johnson and Daughter Named Girl Tag Ambassadors

Girl Tag has officially launched Nigeria's first period care pack and appointed Nollywood actress and philanthropist Mercy Johnson Okojie, along with her daughter Purity Okojie, as brand ambassadors. This initiative aims to bridge the gap in menstrual health education and access to sanitary products, particularly for girls experiencing their first period.

The partnership with iblend services focuses on promoting confidence, comfort, and dignity beyond hygiene, addressing the stigma associated with puberty. The care pack includes premium sanitary pads, overnight period pants, panty liners, and a discreet sanitary bag.

Additionally, the "Youberti" guide, authored by Mercy Johnson Okojie, will be included in every Girl Tag kit to help girls aged 10-13 understand the physical and emotional changes associated with growing up. The products are set to be available nationwide in the second quarter of 2026 through select retail stores, pharmacies, and direct delivery options via the Girl Tag website and social media platforms.
