Oyedepo Urges Members to Give Phone Numbers to Kidnappers

During a church service at Canaanland, Ogun State, Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, instructed church members to give their phone numbers to kidnappers if they were abducted. He recounted two instances of divine intervention involving church members who had been kidnapped.

In the first account, a pastor associated with the church was abducted, and Oyedepo warned the kidnappers that they would die within 24 hours if the pastor was not released. In the second account, a female church member, held captive, declared her faith and was freed after her captors began to harm themselves when they did not receive a call.

Oyedepo emphasized the need for church members to carry spiritual force to overcome evil, stating that the church does not fear the devil. The video of his remarks went viral on social media on Thursday.
