Uyo to Host AGRIC 2026 for Global Agribusiness Investment

The 5th Agribusiness Roundtable International Conference, AGRIC 2026, is set to take place from October 25 to 28, 2026, in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Organized by the Nigeria Agribusiness and Agro-Industry Development Initiative (NAADI) South-South and the Federation of Agricultural Commodity Associations of Nigeria (FACAN), the event aims to unlock investment opportunities across Nigeria's agricultural value chains.

Dr. Howard Usen, the South-South Zonal Coordinator of NAADI and Chairman of the Central Organising Committee, stated that the conference will facilitate partnerships and commercial transactions among sovereign leaders, investors, and industrial operators. The event will feature over 500 high-level executives, including governors, federal ministers, and heads of multilateral agencies.

Key components include an International Trade Pavilion for product displays and closed-door investor deal rooms for presenting bankable agricultural projects. Additionally, masterclasses and a ₦1 million Value Chain Pitch will support young entrepreneurs and farmers.

The conference will also commission Phase One of the Centre for Innovative and Sustainable Agriculture (CISA) and hold the Agribusiness Development and Enterprise Award, ADEA 2026.
