Aimpexx Launches Godofreda App for African Traders

Aimpexx, a Nigerian logistics and supply chain company, has launched Godofreda, an innovative app designed to connect African traders directly with manufacturers globally. This platform replaces traditional sourcing middlemen with a verified video feed, addressing the longstanding trust issues in trade.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer Olayanju Ifeoluwa stated that the app aims to close the gap between traders and manufacturers, allowing users to discover, vet, and order from verified factories without intermediaries. Godofreda features a user-friendly interface resembling a social app, enabling buyers to swipe through video feeds, follow factories, watch live product launches, and place orders seamlessly.

Ifeoluwa emphasized the significance of trust in trade, noting that approximately $1.4 trillion moves in and out of Africa annually, yet much of it does not utilize established trade routes. Aimpexx operates from Lagos and Liwan District in Guangzhou, leveraging existing relationships with Chinese suppliers to enhance the trading experience for African businesses.
