Gombe Governor Predicts APC Victory in 2027 Elections

On Saturday, Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya reaffirmed his loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and predicted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would achieve a landslide victory in the 2027 general elections. This declaration was made during the APC local government area congress held at Idi Primary School in Gombe.

Yahaya expressed confidence in the strength and unity of the APC, describing it as solid and cohesive, focused on delivering the dividends of democracy. He emphasized the party's performance at both state and federal levels, which continues to attract widespread grassroots support.

The governor commended the party's faith, discipline, and commitment, noting that the peaceful conduct of the congress reflects the party's maturity and strong internal democratic culture. Dr. Danjuma Dabo, the chairman of the state local government area ward congress committee, disclosed that the party adopted a consensus approach, promoting harmony and stability.

Hon. Ado Umar confirmed that due process was strictly observed during the congress, which resulted in the emergence of new party officials through a consensual process.
