Gombe Government Donates N14m to Families of Deceased Journalists

The Gombe State Government, led by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has donated N14 million to the families of seven deceased journalists. Each family received N2 million to help with burial expenses and other needs.

The State Secretary to the Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, disclosed the initiative, emphasizing the government's commitment to supporting the affected families. The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) expressed profound appreciation for the government's gesture, highlighting the importance of such support during tragic incidents.
