NUJ Niger Condoles National President Over Death of Seven Gombe Journalists

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Niger State Council has extended condolences to the national president, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya, following the tragic death of seven Gombe State Council members in a ghastly road accident. The NUJ expressed deep pain and devastation over the loss, highlighting the significant contributions of the deceased journalists to the media industry.

The incident, which resulted in the death of seven journalists and injuries to four others, has been described as a great setback for the union. The NUJ urged the national president to find solace in God and encouraged respect for departed colleagues.

The NUJ Gombe State Council and the government of Gombe State also offered prayers for the deceased and their families.
