Gombe State Forms Committee to Address Herders/Farmers Conflict

Gombe State Governor Yahaya has inaugurated a committee comprising security experts, legal practitioners, and technology professionals to tackle the herders/farmers conflict and related security challenges. The committee will develop a comprehensive framework based on a white paper to address the issues and enforce government policies effectively.

Led by Aig Babaji Sundai, the committee will engage stakeholders to implement practical strategies for sustainable solutions. The primary goal is to dismantle outdated grazing practices, enhance security measures, and promote peaceful coexistence to ensure food security and sustainable development in the state.
