Gombe State Establishes Electricity Regulatory Commission in Collaboration with NERC

Gombe State Electricity Regulatory Commission (GOSERC) has been set up to oversee the electricity market in Gombe State, following an order from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). The NERC directed the transfer of regulatory authority to GOSERC in compliance with the Nigerian Electricity Act.

Additionally, the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) officials visited NERC in Abuja to strengthen institutional collaboration in the energy sector. This move aims to support economic growth and energy security in Nigeria.
