Gombe United Appoints New TA, Suspends 8 Players Amid Poor Performance

Gombe United has appointed Haruna Abdullahi, also known as Alampasu, as its interim Technical Adviser following the suspension of former Technical Adviser Abdullahi Tyabo Umar. The club has also suspended eight first-team players due to poor performance in the ongoing Nigeria National League season.

The move aims to address the team's poor form and restore discipline and competitiveness. This decision mirrors a similar action taken by NNL club Lobi Star, which suspended its Technical Adviser Abubkar Bala Moham for underperformance.

Savannah Scorpion Club will face Jigawa Golden Star in the final fixture of the first round of the NNL season.
