Gombe Governor to Replicate Tinubu's LCDA Model

During a statewide development tour on Thursday, Governor Muhammadu Yahaya of Gombe State expressed his intention to replicate the Local Council Development Area (LCDA) model established by President Bola Tinubu in Lagos State. This initiative aims to deepen governance at the grassroots level and accelerate socio-economic development.

The governor made this announcement while inspecting the foundation of the Kwami West LCDA secretariat and other projects in the Kwami Local Government Area. He emphasized the importance of traditional institutions in community leadership and conflict resolution.

The governor also inspected a 28-kilometer road project aimed at enhancing connectivity and agricultural activities. Additionally, he inaugurated a mega non-formal learning center and a modern Tsangaya school, highlighting the administration's commitment to integrating traditional education with formal learning.

In Dukku Local Government Area, he inspected ongoing projects and reiterated the importance of strengthening governance structures to improve rural community development.
