Akpabio Praises Tinubu's Governance at APC Convention

Godswill Akpabio, the Senate President, asserted that the governance approach of Bola Ahmed Tinubu is effectively attracting Nigerians to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Akpabio made these comments on Friday during the APC's 8th National Convention, which was the first major convention since Tinubu assumed office.

He emphasized that Tinubu's leadership style has strengthened the rule of the APC and diminished the influence of opposition parties across Nigeria. Akpabio highlighted significant reforms under Tinubu's administration, including the removal of fuel subsidies, unification of multiple exchange rates, and advancements in the education sector.

He noted that these initiatives are aimed at delivering progress and expanding opportunities for students nationwide, driven by agricultural revolution policies. Akpabio also referenced infrastructural developments, such as the coastal road project envisioned for the Niger Delta region, which has been in planning for 50 years.
