Dangote Cuts Cooking Gas Prices, Dealers React in Nigeria

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has lowered the ex-depot price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), commonly known as cooking gas, to N760 per kilogram. This move has led to adjustments by dealers, with the new price being the lowest in the Nigerian market.

The reduction is aimed at stabilizing the market and normalizing supply. However, there are reports of scarcity and price variations in the South West region.

Olatunbosun Oladapo from NALPGAM highlighted challenges faced by dealers and consumers due to operational issues at LPG terminals.
