Gov Adeleke Unveils New Directives at Osun Cabinet Meeting, Emphasizes Infrastructure and Technology

Governor Adeleke chaired a late-night Osun Cabinet meeting, unveiling new directives across various sectors. The governor praised the high job performance rating of citizens and assured the timely completion of road infrastructure projects, including dualisation and flyovers in Ilesa, Oke, and Iwo.

Adeleke introduced the State Electricity Market law and directed the Energy Commissioner to develop an implementation plan with assistance from the National Electricity Regulatory Commission. He also instructed the Ministry of Science and Innovation to roll out State ICT and Tech Innovation policies, emphasizing Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain technology deployment.

The launch of the Imole Wifi Initiative and the Statewide Youth Agropreneurship Project were commended, with directives for the rollout of the Osun Sports Commission and Police Trust Fund bills.
