Gov. Dapo Abiodun Presents N1.66 Trillion Budget Proposal for Ogun State 2026

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State presented a N1.66 trillion budget proposal for 2026 to the Ogun State House of Assembly in Abeokuta. The budget represents a 57% increase from the previous year, with a focus on revenue generation and economic resilience.

Abiodun outlined revenue sources, including an estimated N250 billion from the Ogun State Internal Revenue Service (OGIRS). The governor aims to grow the state's annual Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) to N750 billion by 2027.

Speaker Oludaisi Elemide assured of the legislature's cooperation to achieve the ambitious revenue targets.
