Mutfwang Exposes Politicians Behind Plateau Insecurity

Governor Mutfwang of Plateau State addressed a group of journalists on Tuesday, alleging that some desperate politicians are sponsoring insecurity in the state. He pointed to a series of violent attacks, including the massacre of 1,000 people during the Dogo Nahawa crisis on March 7, 2010, and a recent attack in Angwan Rukuba where 30 people were killed.

Mutfwang emphasized that these attacks are not isolated incidents, particularly during election periods. He also referenced recent violence in Kanam, Wase, and Quan Pan local government areas, noting that the predominant Muslim population in these areas has been targeted by Muslim extremists.

The governor's statements underscore the ongoing challenges of terrorism and banditry in Plateau State, which have resulted in the loss of innocent lives.
