Gov Okpebholo pledges 2.5 million votes for Tinubu in 2027 elections

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo State has pledged to deliver 2.5 million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. During a campaign event in Esan Central, Okpebholo expressed his confidence in Tinubu's leadership abilities, comparing Nigeria's lagging economy to countries like the United States.

He praised Tinubu's administration for its handling of the economy, citing the recently assented tax reform bill as evidence of progress. Okpebholo's son also promised to deliver a million votes for Tinubu, stating that with a leader like him, Nigeria could be transformed like America.

The governor expressed his belief that with God's grace, they would fulfill their promise in 2027 and help stabilize the economy through tax reform.
