2027 Election: Presidency Mentions Number of Votes Tinubu Would Get in South East

Barrister Daniel Bwala, a special adviser to President Bola Tinubu, mentioned that Tinubu would receive two million votes in the 2027 election, particularly in the South East region. Bwala's statement came during a video interview on August 13.

He also noted that in the 2023 election, Tinubu received an unimpressive one percent of the total votes in the region, scoring only 25 percent in five states - Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Imo, and Anambra. Despite Bayelsa meeting the 25 percent requirement, Tinubu received the lowest votes in Enugu, Anambra, Abia, Ebonyi, and Imo.

President Tinubu emphasized the need to increase public savings to boost Nigeria's investment growth during a Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja. Tinubu highlighted the importance of optimizing savings and enhancing spending efficiency to stimulate economic growth.
