Abia Governor Otti Clears ₦50m Backlog for Deceased Workers' Families, Announces Infrastructure Projects

Abia State Governor Alex Otti has cleared a ₦50 million backlog for the families of 265 deceased Abia workers. The payment was approved during a State Executive Council meeting where Governor Otti emphasized the government's commitment to workers' welfare.

Additionally, the state government will commence the reconstruction of roads and restore electricity in certain areas. Okei Kanu, the Commissioner, also announced the renovation of primary healthcare centers across the state.
