Governor Makinde Visits Ladoja, Confirms Him As Next Olubadan Of Ibadan

Governor Makinde visited former Governor Ladoja and confirmed him as the next Olubadan of Ibadan, making him the 44th to hold the title. The coronation date was revealed during the visit to Ladoja's residence in Bodija.

Ladoja, born in 1944, noted the coincidence of becoming the 44th Olubadan in Ibadanland. The governor approved the coronation date, which also happens to coincide with Ladoja's 81st birthday celebration.

Additionally, Makinde announced the former Chairman of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes as the Chairman of the Coronation Committee, with the committee members' list being made public. This visit and confirmation mark a significant moment in the traditional leadership of Ibadan.
