Makinde Approves Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan, Installation Holds September 26

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has officially approved the nomination of Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland. The coronation ceremony is scheduled for September 26, 2025, at Mapo Hall in the ancient city.

Ladoja, a former Oyo State governor, met with a delegation from the state government at his residence in Bodija, Ibadan, where his appointment was confirmed. Ladoja expressed gratitude for the opportunity, acknowledging the challenges he faced on his journey to the throne and attributing his emergence to the grace of God.
