Delta State Governor Mourns Sudden Death of Aide

Governor Oborevwori of Delta State expressed profound sorrow following the death of his Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Sundai Kotor, who collapsed during a private event on Friday. Despite immediate medical attention, efforts to revive him were unsuccessful, and he was later confirmed dead.

A statement issued by Chief Press Secretary Sir Festus Ahon described Kotor as a committed public servant, emphasizing that his death is a significant loss to the state. Kotor had been a vital figure in coordinating government activities and was known for his role as a master of ceremonies for over two decades, serving under former governors Emmanuel Uduaghan and Ifeanyi Okowa.

He was a graduate of the Delta State University, Abraka, and hailed from the Okwagb Ughievwen Kingdom in the Ughelli South Local Government Area. His sudden passing has left family members, colleagues, and associates in shock, given his vibrant presence and long-standing service.
