Nigerian Govt Declares Public Holiday Before Anambra Election, Tightens Security

The Nigerian government has declared a public holiday on Friday ahead of the Anambra Governorship Election scheduled for Saturday, November 8. Governor Soludo approved the holiday to enable civil servants to travel to various communities to participate in the election process.

Security measures have been heightened, with the Nigeria Police Force deploying tactical teams, helicopters, and drones across Anambra state. The aim is to ensure a credible and secure poll.
